The Cajun Table

Went here a couple of times over the last few weeks. The first time, I went with my daughter's and their families and the second time by myself. The service both times was subpar. The fried catfish and shrimp on the first visit was pretty good, but the boiled crawfish on my next time was just not worth the time and money. Super salty and eye watering expensive. I've been to 3 places so far this crawfish season, and this place is by far the most expensive and least tasty. Go somewhere else for boiled crawfish. Follow up for owners response. I did tell my server of the condition of the crawfish but it was not until I received my check because she just didn't come around to ask. I also understand that crawfish is expensive right now but yours was over $5/lb more than the other 2 places I visited. Its is really good to hear that you can take the feedback about the service and turn that into a positive thing by training your staff.

Went for lunch. Have frequented here before, but this time it was bad. They raised their prices on almost everything. Which I get it, inflation right? OK, well the fried pickles were 11$ ok whatever, but it looked like we got half an order. So after looking at the menu me and my husband both decided on the plate lunch. Which was chicken fried steak, gravy, garlic potatoes, corn, okra and a brownie. Well, that was so salty it was almost hard for me to eat. My husband couldn't finish his, so most of it went to waste. Even the potatoes were super salty. Not much taste other than that. When the waitress asked us how it was we told her it was super salty and she could see we didn't eat much of it. All she offered was a half hearted apology and went about her way. Fine, she didn't cook it, not her fault. But man, it was all so disappointing. For 2 plate lunches, and the fried pickles plus the tip it was 59 and some change. So, 60$ for some stuff we could barely eat....sad to say the least. We've always loved the food there. I'm not sure what is going on but, idk if it'll be worth going back... Edit for Owner Response: We didn't get a chance to ask for one honestly. We saw the waitress once for drinks and the app, another to order food, and a 3rd time to clear the table and bring the check. When we told her it was super salty she didn't offer anything. So we just paid and left. Another waitress also asked us and we told her the same thing. She also apologized but that was it, told her it wasn't her fault. I understand training but...dang.

Wow, great atmosphere here and awesome Cajun seafood, crispy pork rind and 3 lb Cajun shrimp. Our server Sydney was outstanding with explaining the menu and making sure our specific tastes were followed by the kitchen, extra spicy Cajun on the side. Highly rate this restaurant if you’re looking for awesome seafood and great service. 5*****
